The Kincorth Community Centre Hub has great volunteer opportunities to assist with a range of activities at the Hub. Volunteer roles include supporting our busy community cafe, which has rapidly taken off, we currently open 9.30 -2.30, but our aim is to run a breakfast and supper club, as well as have the cafe open for activities in the evening. We have a diverse community that has a lot to offer e.g.: art classes/exercise group/dance class/music lessons and we are always open to new ideas-we are more or less a blank canvass. Excellent support and relevant guidance is provided to all volunteers. Level 2 Hygiene Certificate will be offered to those who want to volunteer/cook in the café. Any other training would be reviewed and provided if proved relevant. A fantastic, enjoyable opportunity to volunteer and help make a real difference for people and the community. We are a welcoming team who strive to promote and work together in the delivery of our radio passion. If this is you get in touch, No experience required and in most cases volunteer when suits you. As an internet station we work from home to bring our vision to the listener. We have a number of volunteers with a wealth of experience in radio and some who have none but have built up the confidence to try new experiences in radio production and presentation. We also meet face to face or by zoom and through facebook so someone will always be there for advice and support. We are now in a position to promote Ayrshire online Radio to the wider community and are looking for energetic fun people to assist in getting us out there. This could be at fetes, shopping malls etc. You Must be 16 or over for this fun experience. You may be handing out leaflets or getting people to take photos with our Photo Board.

Fresh Community Wellness is a growing grassroots charity, registered Scottish Charity Number, SC051346. We operate out of Aberdeen city, working within a (S.I.M.D) high neighbourhood to create lasting change and build a legacy for the future. Predominantly in Seaton neighbourhoods and outdoors, we work with volunteers/residents, with a salutogenic approach to community wellness. To help with this we have great opportunities and need people to help out as volunteers for a range of roles including: *Food growing, gardeners, greenspace management, tidy ups volunteers. *Mentors, community engagement, events, entertainers (kids, adults, 55+). *Outdoors games & sports volunteers, building outdoor areas for residents (sheltered housing seating), health. *Artists/ Sculptors to begin on our Street Art & Design projects, and sculptures. *Admin, coordinators, team lead volunteers, advisors & support volunteers. *Drop-in café helpers, advisors, cooking assistants. Duties may include: Identifies potential advertisers and sponsors for programming and website. Develops marketing and advertising initiatives to promote Ayrshire Online Radio. Monitors advertising initiatives, participates in market exhibitions. Organises meetings and trade fairs by identifying, gathering, and managing needs, creating connections, developing timetables and responsibilities, and managing email newsletters. Flexible volunteering according to volunteers commitments and availabilities.
