Community Engagement Facilitator

  • VO97241

Description

Being a Community Facilitator is all about delivering a variety of lifesaving first aid skills in community engagement workshops and projects, within local communities and primary and secondary schools. A lot of these projects involve talking about and demonstrating the basics of first aid to community groups that can include children, young people and vulnerable adults.

The role is all about promoting first aid awareness and helping to achieve our mission to create a nation of lifesavers.

Organisation aims and objectives

Thank you for expressing an interest in volunteering with St Andrew’s First Aid, Scotland’s dedicated First Aid charity. As a volunteer, you will have access to an unrivalled range of exciting opportunities, from supporting Scottish football league games to supporting some of the biggest music events in Europe. The amount of time you put in is entirely up to you. From as little as 2 hours a week you can be part of our winning team. Not only do our volunteers get the chance to help others, they are also picking up invaluable life skills along the way.
