Description

Attend regular meetings of the fundraising committee. Identify fundraising opportunities for the Group such as local events held by other community groups or hosted by the Group. Submit funding applications. Establish relationships with stakeholders that can assist in securing funding. Work as a team to ensure fundraising events are well organised, with sufficient volunteers with the right expertise, experience and skills.

Restrictions

Experience required: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Provide advice and guidance effectively to others. Build, maintain and facilitate effective working relationships with a wide range of people. Plan, manage and monitor own tasks and time. Identify resources and other needs required.
Travel details: Meetings are held at the 30th Craigalmond Scout Hall, Quality Street Lane, Edinburgh EH4 5BU, or in the local vicinity. Some meetings take place virtually. Fundraising events may be held at different locations in North Edinburgh but transport can be provided form the Scout Hall. The hall is accessible by public transport and is on Lothian bus route 47.

Expenses details: No expenses.
Training details: Training provided through other members of the Fundraising Committee and wider generic skills and training provided by the Scout Association.
Support: Wheelchair Access/Disabled Access Toilet
