Description

Working in local charity shop. Variety of tasks to do including sorting through donations of clothing, toys, bric a brac, shoes and electronics. Keeping the rail/shelves tidy and clean and well stocked. Selling to customers at the desk. Occasionally help with hoovering and general cleaning. We would like to work with your strengths.

Organisation aims and objectives

Barra Thrift shop is the local charity shop on Barra. It receives any goods donated by the community and resells them. Any monies made is then donated to local organisations and charities.

Restrictions

No wheelchair access. Can be physically quite challenging at times times - bending, lifting heavy bags and boxes.
Experience required: Enjoy working with other people. Friendly manner and enjoy meeting the public. Enthusiastic, willing and committed. Reliable. Turn up on rota time or find a replacement. Full support from other members of staff
