Description

Our Linus group invites anyone who has use of a sewing machine - and can use it - to join us in making quilts for vulnerable youngsters from Birth to age 18/19 years.

We can supply materials initially - and tuition if necessary. Small friendly group.

Organisation aims and objectives

To provide security and comfort to sick and traumatised children and young adults (newborn to 18 yrs old) through hand-made quilts and blankets.

Frequency and commitment details

Volunteers work in their own homes - meeting on the last Tuesday afternoon of each month to hand over any quilts they have completed. No Gender Restriction, No restrictions
Experience required: Arts / Music / Drama / Crafts, Caring,Creative,Reliable / Dependable,Good at machine sewing.

Minimum age: 16
