If you are interested in the outdoors and recreation, then look no further than our coaching/leader opportunities. This is a seasonal opportunity with the provisional to carry over the Winter season with indoor coaching. Through the Summer however, we are extremely busy with events and coaching opportunities.

You will work alongside our qualified Mountain Bike leaders who love to share their passion for riding and the with anyone that will let them! We are accredited British Cycling Leaders, Cycle Ride Leaders and a Cycling Scotland Go MTB Centre.

And if you feel like stepping it up, then we can put you through Cycle Ride Leader qualifications and even be adopted into our pool of Freelance Workers we call upon for paid work.

Options include:

  • Assisting with leading participants of trails (Night Rides, MTB trails, Trail Therapy, Social Rides)
  • Assisting with coaching in the local area
  • Assisting with event coaching (Pump Track, Crazy Bikes, Smoothie Bike

We greatly value your time so we give you a one month induction period to ensure you are fully welcomed to the Cycle Hub. We also think its important to give you that time so you can try us out and make sure we fit in with your life schedule and commitments.

Organisation aims and objectives

We encourage people to live healthier lives and reduce car journeys and CO2 emissions through cycling and recycling. We run two community based projects based in Arbroath and Dundee, Scotland. We are committed to our community and want them involved in everything we do at Cycle Hub which is why we love volunteers! We have a variety of roles of varying lengths of commitment time. Whatever your background, identity or ability, there’s a volunteer spot with your name on it. We have a list of volunteer roles you can choose from, but we are ultimately flexible around you and your available time commitment, experience, interests and goals. We want to make sure we find something that fits you best and offers opportunity for growth, development and progression with us. In the past, our volunteers have supported us at our events, in our shops and workshops, and with our Bikeability program in schools.
