Tayside Healthcare Arts Trust (THAT) is looking for new Board Members to join our Voluntary Board of Directors!
COULD THIS BE YOU?
Tayside Healthcare Arts Trust (THAT) was set up in 2002 to develop the Arts in healthcare across Tayside, working with partners to improve the health and well-being of people with a variety of Long-Term Conditions and improve the quality of healthcare environments. THAT delivers a wide range of creative programmes such as; Print making, Drawing, Collage, Music, Singing, Creative Writing, Photography, Movement, Ceramics, Digital animation and others. In direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic THAT has successfully responded by providing online creative programme opportunities, across Tayside. Face to face group work has gradually resumed with appropriate safe distancing measures where necessary. THAT staff work from THAT Office/ home working and support our groups across Tayside Monday – Thursday.
THAT is a company limited by guarantee with charitable status and is governed by a dedicated Board of Voluntary Directors.

• Help support and attend programmes for people with Long Term Conditions and the work of the qualified paid staff and unpaid volunteers.

• Use your skills and knowledge in the governance of this charitable organisation.

• Your attendance at approx. 6-8 meetings per year (day time meetings lasting 90 mins currently via TEAMS or face to face group meetings).

• Raising awareness of the charity in the local community
Some of the skills/interests we are looking for include: Arts, Financial, I.C.T., Legal, Administration, H.R., Fundraising, Third Sector, Academic Research, and Commitment.
