This an opportunity to be part of the Musselburgh Museum & Heritage Group to bring together interesting exhibitions within Musselburgh Museum from April to September each year and sharing these exhibitions with members of the community while on duty within the museum and gaining more information on your community and beyond enriching your knowledge of East Lothian’s Heritage and preserve it for future generations

4 hours shifts weekly during opening times - April-September.
4 hour shifts during museum season - April to Spetember
Experience required: Musselburgh Museum & Heritage Group has a number of choices of what the individual wishes to do from being an archivist to meeting people who come through the door of Musselburgh Museum to give them information on the exhibition presently on display and about the local community providing knowledge and education to everyone you come in contact with to make everyone's visit to Musselburgh Museum well worth their time.
Travel details: Multiple buses travel through Musselburgh from all directions providing an excellent public transport service to and from Musselburgh

Taster available: Yes
Taster details: Applicants can speak to a trustee to learn more about the work of the museum and arrange a visit.
Training details: Each volunteer will be given an induction when joining the MM&HG and will be placed alongside a regular volunteer to gain knowledge and experience to begin with
