Admin Support provides essential back-up for advisers by carrying out a range of activities including file management, word processing, using databases and spreadsheets, scanning and attaching documents to client records, writing letters to clients, booking appropriate appointments for clients to see advisers, dealing with incoming telephone calls, signposting clients to local support resources. There is scope to be involved in our triage process, assessing and reacting to client needs as they are presented to us. Full training and support relevant to the role will be provided. The need for all of our volunteers to be open-minded and non-judgemental is essential along with the ability to be able to maintain strict client confidentiality.
