To become a Member of The Dobbie Hall Trust which runs and maintains a historic building used by the local community and beyond for classes, shows, weddings, dances, etc. We are registered with Companies House and are a charity registered with OSCR.

We meet monthly on a Wednesday evening to discuss any maintenance issues, works having been done, and future works to be done. We facilitate the use of the hall to lets but do not organise or run classes and events.

We employ four members of staff as caretakers/cleaners, one of whom being a hall manager.

We have a beautiful hall with a stage, and various smaller rooms and lounges within the building.

Organisation aims and objectives

The Dobbie Hall Trust exists to ensure the Halls (both the Dobbie Hall & Rotary Hall) are maintained and developed to bring benefit to the public and wider local communities. We organise the programme of events within the Halls and support our many user groups. The Dobbie Hall Trust organises commercial lets and cultural events within the Halls that help make our community more attractive to stay, work and invest in. Fitness, Sports and Dance Classes feature heavily within our programming as well as social gatherings, breakfast clubs, and other events, that reduce social isolation. The buildings themselves are of significant importance in terms of local history and heritage

We meet monthly on a Wednesday evening.
