  • Board/trustee role

Dyslexia Scotland Borders is a volunteer led branch of Dyslexia Scotland. The role of the branch is to raise awareness and understanding of dyslexia by holding meetings which anyone with an interest is welcome to attend. The branch committee meets around 4 times a year in order to plan their open meetings and discuss branch business.

Role Description :
Dyslexia Scotland Borders is looking for some new committee volunteers to help us plan our events for the public.

The branch committee is looking for a Treasurer to:

  • Keep a basic record of branch accounts, with assistance from Dyslexia Scotland
  • Send an annual statement of accounts to Dyslexia Scotland

The branch turnover is modest and there are a limited number of transactions, such as room hire or general expenses.
