Description

Greener Orkney is an environmental charity working with the Orkney community to help reduce Orkney’s carbon footprint and clean up the seas.

Each month as part of our activities Greener Orkney visits a different beach or urban area in Orkney to pick up and record litter we find there. Anyone is welcome to join in and there is no need to book - just come to the meeting place at the start time and look out for the Greener Orkney banners.

We also support other community groups or individuals who wish to undertake beach cleans by providing equipment and support and guidance.

To get in touch with Greener Orkney you can use Facebook messenger or email us on greenerorkney@gmail.com. The programme of beach cleans is also advertised on our website ‘greenerorkney.org.uk’.
