Healthy Valleys are running 4 Little ‘n’ Lively courses in Lanark, Wishaw, Coatbridge and Rutherglen. The course provide an opportunity for families to come together and learn new skills while providing vital peer support.
Starting from the week commencing the 11th July, there is an opportunity for 1 volunteer to support the programnme in each of these locations. The commitment is one session of 2 hours per week for 8 weeks (attendance required for 7 of the 8 sessions). Morning or afternoon sessions available to suit volunteer. Transport to and from the venue can be arranged.
Volunteers would assist with set up/tidy up and be a friendly face welcoming the families to the group. During the session various fun educational activities are provided for the families and the volunteers would have the chance to join in and support the running of the sessions.
Staff will always be in attendance.
By supporting Little ‘n’ Lively you will be helping families with children aged 0-2 years ensure their children grow up in a happy and healthy environment and have a positive impact on their lives in the years to come.
Full training and support will be given for this role.

Protection of children
Volunteers will require to have a PVG. Healthy Valleys will organise this.
Experience required: Interest in promoting key health and wellbeing messages
Enjoy spending time with families and children.
Travel details: This volunteering takes place in SOUTH LANARKSHIRE Throughout rural Clydesdale
Minimum age: 18
