Description

Are you friendly, confident and creative? We need your help to assist with a range of activities at organised events for blind and partially sighted children and young people. You could be helping with group activities such as swimming, skating, walking or providing one to one support and play with arts and craft, sculpture and music.

We are looking for volunteers to help with a group held on Wednesdays between 5 and 7pm.

Help young people achieve objectives; Offer guidance with activities; One to one support and guiding; Support children and young people

RNIB Scotland provides practical support, advice, products and services to anyone living with sight loss. Community Fundraising division ensures that RNIB continues to provide this quality service by raising awareness and valuable funds within local communities.

This role requires membership of the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme (Children and Adults).
Experience required: Ability to use your own initiative; Enthusiasm, confidence and patience; Good communication skills; Observe confidentiality at all times
Minimum age: 18
