Description

The Comradeship Circles service enables socially isolated older members of the veterans communities to enjoy camaraderie with others who share an armed forces background in regular and facilitated telephone group calls. The role is to connect and welcome veterans to the group call,monitor the connection throughout and update the contact management database.

As Scotland's National charity supporting people over the of 50. Age Scotland works to improve peoples lives and promote their rights and interests. We aim to help people love later life, whatever their circumstances. We want Scotland to be the best place to grow older.

Frequency and commitment details

Up to 2 hours a week on same day each week

Restrictions

Experience required: IT literacy and experience using a laptop to work online. Use of a personal laptop with functioning microphone and speakers/headphones. Access to a quiet space within own home or similar.
Minimum age: 18

Support

Training details: Age Scotland Policies and procedures. Older veterans awareness. Further training to support you in the role as needed.
