Secretarial and Administration support - Orkney

Description

We need help with all administration duties for the organisation and Trustees group including:

  • arranging Trustees meetings
  • taking minutes at Trustee meetings
  • assisting with charity paperwork, emails and grant applications
  • assisting with the website and social media

Organisation aims and objectives

We are a small rescue, taking disadvantaged dogs from Orkney and the Isles as well as Mainland Scotland and the UK. We want to give our dogs both who those who will go to be re-homed after assessment as well as the sanctuary dogs the very best we can. But we need some help with background work. And would very much value the input of our volunteers

Depending on volunteer but will need to attend Trustee meetings, dates tbc.

Restrictions

Experience required: General Office experience. Previous secretarial and admin experience desirable. Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, use of Word and the minuting of meetings. Any familiarity with completion of grant application forms would also be gratefully received.
Travel details: The centre is a 10 minute walk from the X1 bus route.

Support

Training details: Volunteers will be given an induction, training and ongoing support.
