We are welcoming volunteers in our Events Circle for 2022. SCCAN events work to support peer-to-peer networking and learning through:

Running a regular programme of interactive online workshops and meetings for members. (At least 30% of SCCAN members participate in SCCAN regular network events).

Organise one national annual gathering plus regular online open networking events and several regional focussed events to nurture the development of new regional networks and / or further support emerging networks. (At Least 200 Participants)

Our events volunteers would commit a couple hours every two weeks to the following activities

Setting up and attending event meetings
Facilitating and note taking
Tidying up notes
Event planning
Delivering the event
Emails prior & post (w evaluation google form survey) to attendees and reports
Send recordings/pictures and reports
Feedback forms

Organisation aims and objectives

We are a nationwide network with the purpose of supporting community-led action in Scotland to address the climate and nature emergency and work for a just, thriving and resilient Scotland.


Experience required: Good command of English, ideally already tech-savvy with zoom and Google docs (but training will be provided). Good communicator. Interested in community and tackling the climate emergency.


Training details: Training on all digital platforms we use and access to communication channels, relevant guides and documents. Ongoing support from Events Coordinator.
