Description

New Adventures offers periods of respite for carers of adults with disabilities. To achieve this we offer regular sports sessions, outings and weekend breaks. We are looking volunteers who would like to join us on our adventures- wherever they take us! Our group have fantastic fun- and we would welcome enthusiastic, friendly individuals to support us in our plans.
We are looking volunteers who may help with the following:
• Support the weekly sports sessions in the Tryst in Cumbernauld
• Support our regular weekly outings to places of interest throughout Central Scotland
• Support us in occasional evening outings ; cinema, bowling, concerts
• Support us in weekend breaks throughout Scotland – or any combination of the above!
Volunteers will be expected to encourage and support participants in their activities; we are keen to promote inclusion and equality and try to take part in as many different and varied opportunities as possible. Friendly, organised and with a sense of humour are all key strengths of volunteers.
