We are looking for volunteers who are competent in their IT skills to support some of our Retirement Housing tenants in using their digital devices.
You do not need to be an expert in using devices, we just ask that you are confident in the basic skills necessary to use devices such as laptops, an iPad or chromebooks.
This volunteering can be done in person, via telephone/video call, on a one-off basis, or as part of a group.

Experience required: General knowledge and understanding of how to use iPads or Chromebooks
Understanding of how to get online and carry out basic tasks - e.g. answering emails, setting up Zoom calls etc
Travel details: Mileage reimbursed, including bus/train tickets
Minimum age: 16

Expenses details: Public transport costs reimbursed on production of tickets purchased. Mileage paid at 45p/mile.
Training details: Full training provided by Connecting Scotland, including helpful tips & tricks provided through various video tutorials.
