*Summary of the role:
The Mum and Toddler Group aims to lead discussion amongst local women, and provide a space to build connections and community. The children range from 0-4 years old. At this age range, children are active, inquisitive and developing their personalities! The main goal of this volunteering role is playing with and caring for the children.

*General responsibilities:
• Getting out appropriate toys and games for free play;
• Leading simple activities organised by the WFW;
• In time, and if they have appropriate experience, volunteers may wish to plan activities or games themselves;
• Adhering to training and guidelines given to ensure the safety and well-being of the children.

Restrictions

Experience required: • One of the most important characteristics we are looking for in volunteers is an enthusiasm and passion for children, and an interest in wanting to positively impact their lives; • Volunteers should be patient and able to deal with potentially stressful situations; • Great communication skills are needed in order to effectively listen and talk to the children; • Volunteers should be creative and flexible. • Be a person of Christian faith, rooted in a Church community.

Expenses details: Expenses include things such as: - Traveling Expenses - Subsistence Costs You must retain a receipt, whether physical or electronic, in order to be able to claim the monies back.
Training details: Excellent support and relevant training is provided to all volunteers. Training will be given at induction and on an ongoing basis as necessary.
