Description

Offering direct support for families in various roles within The Centre. Please get involved if you have experience you want to share or skills you want to develop – training and support will be provided.

Organisation aims and objectives

O’Shays FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) has a new premises called The Centre in Ayr. We offer support for families, schools and professionals to understand the neurobehavioral approaches of children affected by FASD. We provide sensory groups for all ages, parent support groups and birth parent support group. Offering a non-judgemental and safe place for carers to share their experiences.

Rota available for 2-4 hour volunteering per week

Restrictions

Experience required: Please apply if you are friendly and approachable with a gentle out-going manner. Able to support children with neurobehavioural conditions and families who are coping with their day to day care.
Minimum age: 14
