Organisation aims and objectives

Girlguiding encourages girls and young women to become actively involved in the world they live in. We are the biggest voluntary organisation for girls in the U.K. We have a well developed programme for training volunteers. The training is of a high standard and many skills developed are transferable to the workplace and beyond.

Units typically meet every week or fortnight during the school term. You may want to join each week but if that’s too much of a commitment, you can help out occasionally to suit your schedule.
