Housebound Library Book Delivery

  • VO88506

Description

We require a volunteer to drop off and collect books and audio books to service users signed up to our housebound delivery service.

The volunteer starts off this process by arriving at the library, collecting the materials to be delivered and chatting to library staff about any patron updates or requirements. They then deliver the books, receiving any books to be returned at the same time. To comply with Covid 19 related guidance the process is carried out at the patron's front door. There will be no requirement to enter any persons home.

Following this, book returns are taken back to the library and any messages are relayed to the staff.
