Are you a good listener? Are you experienced in minute taking? Do you have good basic IT skills? Then come and join our small friendly team at Advocacy North East. We are a charity based in Aberdeenshire that helps vulnerable adults who are struggling to have their voice heard in matters relating to their health and social care. We are looking for someone to attend our in house meetings (either remotely or in person) and to produce a typed minute. Meetings are regularly scheduled and the time commitment in total would be approximately 6 hours per month. Organisation aims and objectives

Advocacy North East (ANE) is a charitable organisation that provides an independent advocacy service for residents in Aberdeenshire and Aberdeenshire residents who are receiving services at Royal Cornhill Hospital in Aberdeen. ANE also provides an independent advocacy service for carers. Scottish charity registration no. SC024538











Experience required: Experience and knowledge of Minute taking and the production of an accurate and concise Minute from meetings.
Minimum age: 18


Training details: Excellent support is provided to all volunteers and Basic Core Advocacy Skills training will be provided via zoom to enable you to better understand our organisation and the work we do.
