Volunteer Admin Assistant

The volunteer will deal with the people we support, members of the public and staff in a professional and friendly manner. The range of tasks will include: general typing of reports/letters/statistical information; updating databases, data input, record management, filing, scheduling meetings, receiving and responding to email messages, recording messages for clinicians and general office/reception duties as required.

You should have good keyboard skills and have the ability to organise and prioritise workload. The volunteer will help with all the administrative work and will get support from the staff team also so they can learn and develop, and find out more about Real Life Options as a health and social care charity.

Real Life Options was first established in 1992 to support and empower people with learning disabilities and autism to have more choice and greater control over their lives. Over the last three decades, we have grown to become a national provider of social support and care while staying true to our core ethos. We support people across the UK to develop their independence and achieve their potential. Role can be flexible to suit the needs of both the volunteer and the organisation, approx time commitment is 2 hours per week.


This role will best suit someone who has an understanding of MS Office, admin experience, strong problem-solving skills and organisational skills, good written and verbal communication skills. An admin qualification would be advantageous.
Travel details: Role takes place at 88 Grahams Rd, Falkirk FK2 7DL.

Training details: Volunteer will receive a Service induction, online training through Ontrack and continued training and learning opportunities as appropriate.
