The Brave Jnr Esports Academy is due to launch at the end of September offering an esports experience for young people, much like a youth football club or dance school, where young gamers will be supported to develop their gaming skills and participate in tournaments in a safe and structured environment.

The academy will only feature Fortnite for the first term but will move to include Rocket League and Minecraft early in 2022.

The role is Junior Esports Coach: Fortnite and will mainly consist of hosting and directing Fortnite lessons to groups of young people age 8 - 13. The lessons will be scheduled in the evenings on weekdays, lesson content and training will be provided. Candidates must agree to undergo a PVG check.

There will be opportunities to help develop lessons and manage tournaments in the near future.

Organisation aims and objectives

We are a not-for-profit youth esports organisation on a mission to empower young people from deprived communities to build brighter futures through esports. We have worked with many young people of all ages and supported them in learning how to play together, how to play competitively, create media, complete in game challenges, troubleshoot technical difficulties, manage their attitudes as well as loads of other things like just being there to chat.











Experience required: A strong understanding on Fortnite. Access to the game on console or PC. Experience playing video games with young people (siblings, cousins etc) preferred but not essential.
Travel details: The role is fully online.
Minimum age: 16
