Two hours per week is all they ask to support a vulnerable adult with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.)/chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). Action for M.E.’s UK-wide advocacy service, is expanding in Scotland and supports adults with M.E./CFS to understand their rights, make informed choices, and have their views and wishes heard and respected, dealing with issues including health, social care, housing & employment. You’ll work entirely online/by phone to meet and represent clients, agree an action plan, undertake research. Initial training will be given via Zoom then indication and ongoing support is available.


Experience required: Empathetic, professional manner, communicate clearly and be a good listener

Expenses details: Public transport and mileage at 45p
Training details: 3 x 2 hour sessions on Zoom. then induction and on-going supplort. Volunteer meetings.
