Description

Care for ponies/rabbits
Main Duties: To ensure ponies have water, clear pony field, help with grooming etc. Rabbits – ensure rabbits are fed and have water, cleaning hutch and surround area and giving our rabbits lots of love and cuddles.

Organisation aims and objectives

We provide respite for families who have a child or young person with cancer or other life altering illness; we also provide bereavement breaks for families who have lost a child or young person through cancer or life altering illness.

We have a rota, time slot allocated could be morning between 8-10am for example.

Restrictions

Experience required: None required but a love of animals and experience of handling rabbits is preferred but no essential.

Expenses paid: Yes
Training details: Ongoing training on roles and duties. Support for volunteers by staff members to ensure wellbeing.
