We are seeking to attract 2 Finance and Administration Volunteers to support our financial and administrative processes through effective implementation of policies, systems and robust internal controls. The individual will maintain accurate and transparent record keeping and updating all accounting records and other financial and administrative records as required.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Ensure that documentation for all accounting transactions relating to specific grant funding is complete, transparent and robust
• Ensure monthly controls and reconciliations are performed
• Ensure company-wide compliance to grant conditions and internal financial policies and highlighting areas of concern to the Chief Officer
• Work with the team to help develop a funding strategy and ensure this is implemented to maintain integrity and transparency throughout the organisation
• Ensure that our paper filing records for all accounting transactions relating to funding is fully documented, well structured, transparent and easily accessible
• Other ad-hoc administrative duties as they may arise

• Time commitment per week: Minimum 4 or 8 hours over 2 days • Length of role: On-going, minimum six months commitment requested

Restrictions

Experience required: Essential: •Good, accurate administration skills, including keyboard, word processing and data entry and retrieval skills •Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including telephone and reception skills •Good financial administration and numeracy skills •A keenness to learn new skills relating to the administration of reporting on grant funding Desirable: •An understanding of and commitment to promoting volunteering •Previous experience added advantage
Travel details: This roles involves 'hybrid working', both from home and from our premises in Grangemouth Town Centre.
