Partnerships for Wellbeing is a well-established charity that offers services such as Health Walks and Community Transport. As we head towards our 20th anniversary we’re looking for 2 new Directors to join our Board of Trustees. You’ll help shape our strategy for the years ahead and you’ll provide valued advice and guidance to the management team responsible for providing life-enhancing services to the community. Our charity is supported by funds from NHS Highland, Highland Council and many other agencies and organisations. Board Directors have a key role in ensuring that money is well spent. If you have experience in the public or private sector, perhaps as a manager or organiser, you’ll have a lot to contribute...but more than that, we’re looking for directors with the kind of life experience relevant to the aims of our charity.
Our current chairperson is stepping down at the end of 2021, so we’re looking for Directors who might eventually be interested in taking that leading role on our Board

Contribute to the development & improvement of health, wellbeing & social care in a sustainable way throughout Highlands, through partnerships with individuals, communities and private/statuary voluntary sectors, tackling isolation and social exclusion, facilitating independent living.
Board Meetings( 2hours) , usually Wednesday morning, 7 times per year, plus occasional ad hoc meetings or events. Board papers are distributed in advance of each meeting . A Board Chair will liaise with other Directors and the Manager to set the agenda f
Experience required: Involvement in business, public service or the charity sector would be useful
Travel details: Recent board meeting have been conducted via Zoom. Otherwise the Board meets at our offices in Inverness city centre.
