Light the North Pop-up Shop and Merchandise Volunteers

  • VO87669

Clan Cancer Support, in partnership with Wild in Art, is set to shine a light across the north-east, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Moray, Orkney and Shetland with ‘Light the North’ the lighthouse trail in Autumn 2021. This is the latest art sculpture trail in Scotland following on from Oor Wullie to inspire artists, school and the public from across the country while raising vital funds for Clan Cancer Support. At the end of trail, each of the lighthouse sculptures will be auctioned off and the funds raised will help Clan to support even more people affected by cancer.

In the lead up to and during the trail, we have various volunteer opportunities available. This includes assisting at our Pop-Up Shop, located in Aberdeen’s Bon Accord Centre, which will be the hub of all things Light the North with merchandise for sale, trail maps, and sculptures on display. You will engage with shop visitors by providing information on Clan and Light the North, promote and sell merchandise, and encourage donations to Clan. You will also help fulfil online merchandise orders. Please note this role involves standing for periods of time and some cash handling.

If you are interested and available to help out, we would be so grateful to have your support. Please follow this link to sign up for any days and times that you would be able to help:
