To attend the Beacon Club 10am – 2.30pm on one of the following days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday
To help with:
Assisting staff to set up the day’s activities and tidying up afterwards.
Escorting the members on and off the minibus safely and while they are mobilising elsewhere should they require this.
Laying tables and serving meals, observing club hygiene procedures.
Helping the members get the best out of a range of planned activities and outings.

4 and a half hours per week for a minimum of 12 months


Experience required: Have a positive attitude to training and attend training by arrangement. Be committed to the well-being of older people with dementia. Have a non-judgmental approach towards others’ beliefs, values and lifestyle. Have reasonably good listening and communication skills. Be willing to work as part of a team.

Training details: Volunteers receive training and support throughout their time with us. They also receive free meals while at the club and have their travel expenses reimbursed.
