Driver Volunteer

Description

Our drivers provide a free transport service for cancer patients who are registered with the three medical groups at Meadowbank Health Centre in Polmont.

Patients travel to hospitals across Central Scotland for their treatments, eg. Glasgow, Airdrie, Edinburgh, and Larbert. Drivers use their own cars - a 4-door vehicle is essential. Of course, a full driving licence and fully comprehensive car insurance is also essential. Opportunities are intermittent and dependent on the number of patients requiring travel to treatment.
