Call companions are volunteers who make regular telephone calls to lonely and isolated, older people. These calls provide a lifeline of friendship for our older people.  The regular, warm, friendly chat and companionship is a vital link with the outside world from which they have become isolated.

Over time call companions and the older person they are paired with will get to know each other well and together they spend many hours full of fun and laughter, sharing stories as well as vital support over the phone.
