Would you like to support a young person on their journey to gaining new skills and experience, becoming more self-confident and achieving their goals?
ProjectScotland works with young people who are trying to get on in life, by providing them with 1-2-1 support and the chance to complete a voluntary placement with a local charity.
On top of this, each of the young people we work with is offered the chance to work with a volunteer mentor.
We are searching for people to commit to spending one hour a week for a minimum of 6 months, mentoring the young people that ProjectScotland works with.
As a volunteer mentor, you will help them reflect on their volunteering, enabling them to turn up the volume on their skills and resources, which in turn will help them work out what they want to do in the future. The support you can offer is invaluable, from providing CV advice and interview support, to goal setting and confidence building.
