The Centre for Inclusive Living Perth and Kinross (CILPK) are looking to recruit someone who can help our small charity develop a vibrant and engaging presence across our website and other digital channels. COVID-19 has provided us with an opportunity to engage with new audiences and build stronger relationships online. This is a great opportunity for someone already involved in this area but keen to give back to a charity or a student or young person who is seeking to develop a career in this area or is currently studying digital media/marketing at college or University.
You will support the Centre for Inclusive Living Perth & Kinross (CILPK) to be the voice for disabled people on disability access, equality, and independent living issues in Perth & Kinross and to enable disabled people to shape the environment in which they live. The focus is on building the profile of CILPK as an organisation to fulfil its potential, and the capacity of the disabled community to become actively involved in a range of opportunities and challenges that enable their full inclusion into their communities and daily lives.

Organisation aims and objectives

CILPK is run by disabled people for disabled people, we offer a range of services designed to ensure better access, greater equality of experience and meaningful improvements in our right to live independently. Our Objectives are to: promote Independent living and inclusion for all disabled people raise awareness and provide advice to relevant parties on alterations that should be made for disabled people undertake projects decided by the members that will help support independent living and inclusion campaign for change in the wider society provide disabled people with the tools to help effect change themselves

Frequency and commitment details

The hours will be flexible up to 6hours a week but will be dependant on projects being worked on .


Experience required: Essential • Experience of designing websites and using related technologies. • Experience of using social media and implementing campaigns etc to drive user traffic. • Competent using Word, Excel and other Microsoft packages • Good interpersonal & organisational skills. • Ability to work on own at home. • Creative flair and an eye for good design. Desirable: Experience of Adobe Creative Suite, Wordpress, Mailchimp, photoshop etc Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
Travel details: We have an office based in Perth but currently this will be home based. If the opportunity allows then there will be the occasional opportunity to attend face to face activities and events to produce engaging content for our website and social media.
