Volunteers are encouraged to work in the gardens on Wednesdays and the last Saturday of the month (every Saturday from April 2020). Volunteering is coordinated by a designated board member, but volunteers work in the gardens under the direction of the gardener and/or the designated Board member on day-to-day gardening or manual labour tasks.
In 2019, garden volunteers contributed almost 2000 hours, which is nearly equivalent to a full-time employee. As the gardens and woodlands are developed, it is anticipated that even more volunteer time will be required to maintain and develop the Gardens.
To become one of our volunteers please email to register your interest or complete the VOLUNTEER FORM on the website. You can also follow us on our Facebook page for regular updates on the project.
