We are looking for someone who can support with the recruitment and welcome of Shop Volunteers at the Save the Children Shop in Nicolson Street. The role would involve managing our online recruitment process, conducting phone calls and promoting the volunteer roles on external websites - ensuring we are able to welcome a diverse group of people to our team.

Organisation aims and objectives

Save the Children is the world's independent children's rights organisation. We're outraged that millions of children are still denied proper healthcare, food, education and protection and we're determined to change that.










3-4 hours per week for 3 months


Experience required: This role will involve excellent communication and time management skills. Support and training will be provided throughout but ideally this role would suit someone who is comfortable using the internet and enjoys speaking to people on the phone.
Travel details: This role is largely home based but we would involve a minimum of three shifts in the store as part of the training process.

Expenses details: Expenses are paid when the receipt is handed over.
Training details: Following an interview process we will provide in store training so the applicants can gain an understanding of how the shop operates. After 3 shifts (at a time that suits the applicant) we will then arrange for online training - via a Zoom webinar to go through the recruitment and promotion process. Training and support will be on an ongoing basis.
