The Museum are looking for someone with an interest in their local heritage to coordinate volunteer rotas etc at the Museum
Housed in the old animal auction mart in the centre of town, Alford Heritage Museum preserves and displays historic agricultural and social artefacts relating to life in NE Scotland and, in particular, the Donside area. We work with many schools, libraries, OAP and other local groups who visit or use the Museum for educational or social purposes. Music and cultural events are held from time to time. Artefacts may be borrowed for cultural and educational purposes. Normally open April - October.
