Description

You will be helping provide practical and emotional support to people. Every individual will need different support from us to help, below are some examples of what you might support with:

Practical support such as light shopping for someone who has been discharged from hospital
Reconnecting people someone with their communities to help overcome loneliness
Helping someone connect with other organisations who can offer them support with their long-term health condition

Commitment: This service requires minimum 6 months commitment including alteast 4hrs a week (any day from Monday to Friday).

Frequency and commitment details

Restrictions

Experience required: We keep the service user at the heart of what we do, working to understand their needs and the difference we make. You need to have good interpersonal, diplomacy, communication and teamwork skills and full training can be given for any necessary technical requirements
Travel details: Reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses when on duty.
Minimum age: 18
