Description

As a volunteer you’ll help open up the furniture hall, make sure the hall is clean and tidy and that donations are displayed properly. You’ll greet customers and answer telephone enquiries. At the end of the day, you’ll close up the hall and ensure all money is secure and paperwork is complete.

Covid-19 protocols must always be followed, for example, wearing face masks and keeping hands and surfaces clean.

Restrictions

Experience required: As a volunteer your will treat all people with respect, courtesy and discretion. You must be physically fit for lifting and moving furniture. We welcome people working out their court appointed community service with us.
Travel details: 2-minute walk from 2 bus stops: Garden Street stop (Stagecoach) and High Street stop (Town Service). On-street parking on High Street and Duff Street.
