Description

Enthusiastic volunteers wanted to help us to keep our town looking loved. Join our award-winning group of volunteers to make our town floral, green and clean to benefit our community and visitors.

Tasks can include planting, dead-heading, weeding, pruning and watering our permanent and annual planting displays. Tasks can also include litter-picking, painting and helping out at our community events. Volunteering opportunities are available with us throughout the year. We run weekly Team sessions on Monday mornings from spring throughout autumn (in normal circumstances ending with an optional visit to a local café for a cuppa and catch up) but also work individually / in pairs at other times throughout the week. We garden in an environmentally friendly way to benefit and encourage our wildlife. We hope to inspire our community to be more aware of what we can all do to help our environment.
