'Supporting Your Recovery' Volunteer

  • VO84298

Volunteers will provide practical and emotional support to promote the recovery and reablement of a local person, following their experience of a hospital admission, or significant medical intervention.

This service is very individual and unique to each client depending on their needs as well as their personal aims regarding their recovery and the regaining of their independence.

The time commitment required will vary from volunteer to volunteer, and from client to client. We are happy to work with volunteer’s schedules and commitments to find a pattern of volunteering that suits each individual and meets the needs of the service. We ask volunteers to commit to a regular pattern of volunteering (weekly/fortnightly) as much as possible.
