Description

The Greenhouse Pantry was set up in 2021 in response to the rising levels of food insecurity in the Craigmillar area of Edinburgh. Following the Your Local Pantry model, people who are facing food insecurity in the local area can become members, paying £4.50 per visit for approx.10 items. Pantries are a more sustainable longer-term solution to food poverty. Pantry assistants will help support the general day to day running of the pantry. There are a variety of tasks and these will be matched with the volunteers experience and skills.
It is all ground floor. Wheelchair accessible. No disabled toilet.
