SSAFA is a national charity helping and supporting those who serve in our Armed Forces, those who used to serve and families of both. One day’s paid service in any of our Armed Forces is all that is needed to qualify for assistance from SSAFA. Our network of branches provided support to veterans and the Armed Forces community. Currently SSAFA has 92 branches and 65 service committees worldwide.
Caseworkers provide friendly support and advice to eligible individuals. The role of the caseworker is to assess the needs of the client and access appropriate assistance. This could include obtaining financial assistance or accessing specialist equipment for clients with disabilities.
Good support and relevant training is provided to all volunteers. Includes local induction training and a Caseworker course.
A fantastic opportunity to make a lasting difference to the lives of service personnel, reservists, veterans and their families. All help is greatly appreciated. For More details please contact Emily Clark at email email@example.com
