Hospital Volunteer (Stirling)

  • VO86907

Description

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (RSVP) works with NHS Forth Valley to develop volunteering in local hospitals. We are looking for volunteers to fill some gaps in the rota at Stirling Care Village.

Volunteers are supporting NHS and GP practice staff by monitoring the doors and greeting people who are attending their GP practice, the Minor Injuries Unit or X-ray. Volunteers ask people at the door whether they have any Covid-19 symptoms, ask them to sanitise their hands and wear a face covering before directing them to the appropriate reception desk.

The Centre is open between 8.30a.m. and 9p.m. Volunteers are required to wear masks, and gloves are available if the volunteer prefers to use them. A Volunteer t-shirt is provided.
