We require some support from volunteers to help person our phone in the office, support initial and general enquiries and be a friendly, supportive voice and face to those who call and attend at our office.

Whatever amount of time you can provide is massively welcomed.

Organisation aims and objectives

Grampian Autistic Society are working to ensure that people in the North East of Scotland living with an Autism Spectrum Condition are enabled to fulfil their potential within their community and society.










There are a range of times available to volunteer and all help is greatly appreciated.


Experience required: Someone with experience in reception is desirable. The individual must be confident to speak to the general public on the phone, and any walk-ins to the office. They must be willing to learn, and if they have a understanding of Autistic Spectrum Conditions this would be even better.
Travel details: Our office is at: 33-35 Carnie Drive, Aberdeen, AB25 3AN Free parking/public transport access.
Minimum age: 16


Training details: Excellent support and relevant training is provided to all volunteers. Volunteers will be supported by the Engagement Officer to continuously work out a schedule that works for both the organisation and the volunteer. An induction will be completed to provide understanding of the role and the commonly asked questions.
