CLAN Cancer Support provides emotional and practical support to people affected by cancer, their family, carers and friends. Volunteers in our stores provide vital help to CLAN and all assistance is greatly appreciated. In our stores, just 3 hours a week from a volunteer can make a huge difference. Whether sorting and pricing donations, till work, or just chatting to customers, we have a role for everyone. A great way to meet new people and help raise money for our clients. Our shops help fund Hospice care in the Highlands. Retail volunteers work as part of team with the Shop Manager to keep the shop open and to generate income from the sale of donated and new goods. Our 14 shops are located across the Highlands. Main responsibilities: • To provide high standards of customer care to shoppers • To sort and price goods • To operate the till and handle cash • To help keep the shop clean and tidy

Save the Children has had a branch in Lewis since 1965 and a shop since 1984. At present we have approximately 50 volunteers who support the shop and branch. We have a happy working atmosphere in the shop. Volunteers serve the public, sort out clothing, iron and help at outside fundraising events eg coffee mornings, soup lunches etc. If you have people skills and a sense of humour, this is the job for you.

Wick Cancer Research charity shop are looking for volunteers to help in the shop. General retail, customer service, sorting donations preparing items for sale and making transactions
