Volunteer would be required to collect a bag of up to 10 books from Public Libraries, to deliver to housebound individuals or Care Facilities. There would be no minimum number of individuals e.g. one volunteer could be responsible for 1 library member. The process could be done on foot if feasible, but it is likely that this opportunity would be done by car.

Experience required: The volunteer would require a clean driving licence and a PVG. Some light lifting of book bags would be required. A person who enjoys interacting between library members receiving deliveries would be desirable
Travel details: There is demand for Book Delivery across the authority. Book collection points would be located in William Patrick, Bishopbriggs, and Milngavie & Bearsden Libraries. You will be allocated to the library closest to you or off your choice
