Description

To support the work of Salvation Army emergency response in attending major emergencies

Provide basic refreshments to emergency services personnel at the scene of an emergency
• Provide a listening ear and welfare support for emergency services personnel
• Offer low level practical support for those who need it
• Interest in Salvation Army’s work and sympathy with the general aims and values of The Salvation Army
• You will need to provide your own transport, to and from the response location.
• Sensitive interpersonal skills and ability to keep confidences
• Able to take instruction and work as part of a team
• Commitment to upholding health and safety guidelines to protect the team and people we are supporting
• Commitment to safeguarding and protecting vulnerable children/adults and a willingness to raise concerns where necessary
